Panorama Aero Acquires 22 Cessna Caravan Aircraft from Avion, Expanding Turboprop Portfolio
West Palm Beach, FL — June 11, 2026 — Panorama Aero today announced the successful closing of its acquisition of a portfolio of 22 Cessna Caravan 208 and 208B Grand Caravan aircraft from Avion, an aircraft lessor with over 35 years of operating history. The transaction expands Panorama's presence in the essential air service market, a core segment of its specialized aerospace strategy.
The fleet comprises two Cessna Model 208 and 20 Model 208B Grand Caravan aircraft, all operating under long-term leases to Grant Aviation, based in Alaska.
The Cessna Caravan is the most widely deployed single-engine utility turboprop in the world, with over 3,000 aircraft delivered and more than 25 million flight hours accumulated globally. The platform is purpose-built for essential operations in remote regions where air travel is the only means of access, a market segment that aligns directly with Panorama Aero's mission-critical aviation mandate.
"We're excited to work with Grant Aviation and to support their continued growth and expansion," said Pari Parchi, Founder and CEO of Panorama Aero. "The Caravan is the Jeep Wrangler of turboprops, rugged, simple, and built for places nothing else can serve. What makes it exceptional as a long-term asset is that the airframe is evolving into a technology chassis that withstands the test of time. Next-generation autonomous flight systems and hybrid engine technology are extending the platform's use cases well beyond what it was originally built for. We're not just acquiring twenty-two aircraft, we're acquiring twenty-two platforms for the next era of essential aviation."
"We have enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Avion, and we appreciate the role they have played in supporting our growth," said Gabe Kompkoff, CEO of Grant Aviation. "This partnership with Panorama Aero represents an important step in the next phase of Grant Aviation's evolution. Their long-term commitment, combined with the ability to scale with our operational needs, provides a strong foundation for future growth. The Caravan fleet is central to our mission of delivering safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to communities across Alaska, and we look forward to benefiting from Panorama Aero's extensive experience in the turboprop market as we continue to expand our service."
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Panorama was advised by Gilchrist Aviation Law and Spencer West US LLP, with tax advisory by Baker Tilly.
